3 Week Board & Train includes:

• 21-28 days of training focusing on building reliable obedience, working through existing behaviors such as excessive leash pulling and reactivity and meeting the specific needs on you and your dog.

• Training tools as discussed with your trainer

• Weekly private lessons with your dog and trainer during their Board & Train program

• Follow up private lessons after training

• Access to training groups and events after training graduation

The commands we focus on are sit/stay , down/stay , heel , place and off-leash recall. Your dog is taught to understand e-collar and proofed with e-collar with all obedience and practiced with distraction. Tool usage will be different for every dog - this is something we discuss with you during an initial consultation and communicate with you about during your dog’s training.

During their Board & Train we will focus on helping your dog achieve a calm and balanced state of mind, build their skillset and work on meeting your goals so you can enjoy your dog and give them the freedoms that come along with being able to trust in their training.

During your dog’s training we also work with you - educating you on how your dog’s training works and working with you to ensure your dog’s long term success after training.

4 Week Board & Train includes:

• 28-35 days of training focusing on building reliable obedience skills and working through unwanted or difficult behaviors such as excessive barking, growling, lunging and extreme reactivity and redirection.3 Week Board & Train includes:

• Training tools as discussed with your trainer

• Weekly private lessons with your dog and trainer during their Board & Train program

• Follow up private lessons after training

• Access to training groups and events after training graduation

The commands we focus on are sit/stay , down/stay , heel , place, leave it and off-leash recall. Your dog is taught to understand e-collar and proofed with e-collar for all obedience and practiced with distraction.

Having a dog with behavior issues is not easy. During your dog’s Board & Train we will examine your dog’s state of mind, your relationship with your dog and what your dog needs as an individual to succeed.

Giving your dog clear rules and boundaries through training can help them let go of excessive anxieties and help them feel more secure. Our end goal is for your dog to feel relaxed, comfortable and secure with you. We want to teach you how to guide your dog in good decision making, feel comfortable managing your dog, and enjoy your relationship with your dog.

During your dog’s training we also work with you - educating you on how your dogs training works and working with you to ensure your dog’s long term success after training.

Included is all training tools ( Herm Sprenger brand prong collar and Educator e-collar ) , 4 weeks of Board and Train, 3 private lessons with you during your dog’s Board & Train, and 4 private lessons after training to ensure you are supported in keeping your dog on track.

K9 Connect’s Board and Train program is built to fit your dog and your lifestyle. We focus on proofing obedience, teaching your dog to understand e-collar communication, socializing them appropriately in the real world and transferring the understanding of their training directly to you.

Our Board and Train program is heavy on owner involvement - we feel it is the key to lasting success and long term change in behavior. As we teach and train your dog, we are also teaching and training you to understand everything your dog has learned and how to apply it.

Our goal is for your dog to be able to enjoy all the world has to offer, and for you to be able to enjoy it with them.

During Board and Train your dog will master sit/stay , down/stay , off-leash recall and heel ( commands dependent on individual needs of dog ). They will enjoy socialization and dog play if appropriate, training outings to proof their obedience in the real world, training sessions thorough the day as well as play sessions.

We will focus on building the specific skillset that YOUR dog need to succeed in the world. This means teaching and training new skills as well as working through existing hard behaviors such as reactivity, aggression, resource guarding and more. Our goal is the long success and happiness of both you and your dog.

Much like a traditional Board & Train program, we focus on teaching your dog to understand e-collar communication, have reliable obedience skills and polite manners. However, the commands we focus on in this program are geared towards focusing on off-leash recall, off-leash heel, down stays and sit stays - all proofed and practiced in a high distraction environment.
