K9 Connect Dog Training is focused on connecting dogs and their humans. Whether your goal is to improve your dog’s obedience skills, work through existing challenging behaviors or simply set them up for a lifetime of success - our training programs are custom tailored to fit your individual dog’s needs.
We believe that while training your dog is our job, training you is equally as important. Our goal is to train your dog to meet your goals and to train you to understand their training and behavior.
We are based out of Vancouver, Washington and know just how may opportunities the beautiful Pacific Northwest offers you and your dog. In such a dog friendly area - it is our goal for you to be able to bring your dog along on any adventure. Our custom approach to training takes into account the lifestyle you want with your dog, and focuses on setting them ( and you ) up for success.

Book a Behavior Evaluation, where we come to you to spend time with your family and observe your dog’s behavior.
During this time will get to know you, your dog and work with you to find solutions and create a training plan.

Behavior Evaluation cost is $50

Private lessons are typically 1 hour of me working with you and your dog, teaching you what you need to know with hands on practice. Subject of private lessons is dependent on your specific struggles or goals with your dog. Common topics of private lessons are excessive barking, leash pulling, etc.
Private lessons are $75 a lesson
Package rate is:
$75 for 1 lesson
$210 for 3 lessons
$325 for 5 lessons

K9 Connect’s Board and Train program is built to fit your dog and your lifestyle. We focus on proofing obedience, teaching your dog to understand e-collar communication, socializing them appropriately in the real world and transferring the understanding of their training directly to you. We will meet weekly for lessons to ensure you have a full understanding of your dog’s training as well as course materials while your dog is in training with us.
Our goal is for your dog to be able to enjoy all the world has to offer and for you to be able to enjoy it with them.
During Board and Train your dog will master sit/stay , down/stay , off-leash recall and heel ( commands dependent on individual needs of dog ). They will enjoy socialization/group play if appropriate, as well as training outings to proof their obedience in the real world, and training sessions thorough the day.
We will focus on building the specific skillset that YOUR dog need to succeed in the world. This means teaching and training new skills as well as working through existing hard behaviors such as reactivity, aggression, resource guarding and more. Our goal is the long term success and happiness of both you and your dog.

Our dedication to owner education
K9 Connect Dog Training was named after our mission - to connect dogs and their owners. We do so much more than simply train your dog, our approach is to teach you alongside your dog. Weekly lessons and updates through Board & Trained paired with follow up lessons ensure that you and your family get the support needed in training your dog. We love to connect and build long lasting relationships with our clients. After your training program is complete, we host multiple training events every month that are free to graduates.
in-home training
Our business is small - and we like it that way! Your dog stays in our personal home during their Board & Train program and becomes our family during that time. Because of this, we are able to train in a home environment and work through real-life scenarios and struggles you might be having, teach real-life skills and work through any challenges that come up in a home environment. From neighbors knocking on the door to dogs barking on the other side of the fence - this isn’t replicating real life training. This IS real life training.
Real World Training
Prior to beginning training, we talk extensively with you about your goals and dreams for your dog. Are you hoping to take your dog to the farmers market - that’s where we will go to practice! Are you wanting your dogs trail manners improved while hiking? We take them to the trail!
Our goal is to help you reach your goals with your dog - and this means working out and about among real life distractions and challenges.
WE ACTUALLY CARE … A LOT
We get to know and love each individual family and dog we work with. Your dog lives with us in our home, and we spent a LOT of time with you guys. Our clients are our social circle and we care a lot about your success and happiness with your dog long term. This is not a “dog in, dog out” kind of training, this is a “you have our support forever” kind of training. We are going to show up to make sure you’re supported and stick around to see you guys succeed. From follow up workshops to in home visits, the end of Board & Train isn’t goodbye - it’s see you soon!
